Pros
Steady work, clean/climate controlled facility and good benefits.
Cons
There is no overtime and no exceptions if you go beyond your shift. Relationships between management and certain employees are corrupt to say the least. I witnessed an employee leave the facility and be gone for a few hours. (This happened on more than one occasion) Then they would randomly show back up for work. Meanwhile, they did not clock out or let anyone know they were leaving. A fellow employee reported this and was ignored by management. There were others who would be late daily and call off endlessly. Other employees would have to carry their workload plus their own. There is also an “employee of the month” program. Some of the same people have been chosen in a calendar year more than once. There was one employee that’s been with the company over 20 years. They were nominated numerous times and always looked past for the teachers pets. If you like shining boots, you will fit in just fine. If you want to be noticed for your work and ethic, move on to other options.
