Pros

Provides a good base salary but lacks additional incentives (e.g promotion, recognition ) which affects the long term engagement. Exposure to multiple technology stack is beneficial for new comers

Cons

Mentorship by seniors is lacking and training is on the job which might not be the best way to improve productivity of workers.

Niometrics Response

We are sorry if your journey with us had let you down — we wanted to take time to digest and respond your comments thoughtfully. Here it goes: 1) We have introduced several programs throughout the employee journey, starting from the peer program when someone joins us, coupled with other regular and ad-hoc mentorship and training sessions. This is something we want to continue improving on. 2) We have also chosen to concentrate our rewards on salaries, which can be then spent on whichever benefits people see fit. That has created a straightforward reward framework that most of our people seem to enjoy. 3) When it comes to internal communication, our team leaders are being encouraged to provide more frequent feedback, and drive transparent and honest conversations within the team and the organisation. For example, The Sync, our bi-annual all-hands event and our main alignment and bonding platform. Improving communications is something we will continue to prioritise. We appreciate your feedback, and we will work to address those concerns shared by you.

Pros

Involved deeply in the projects

Cons

Extreme workload due to short of employee. Only got pay raise once in the span of 3 years 10 months of working, never got a promotion, their reasoning is the company has just been acquired, new management, etc etc.
