The main office is a fun place to work, if you're part of the "in crowd". Lots of free food and snacks. Some fun events for people who have lots of free time.

If you're not in with the cool kids (which is the CEO and some of upper mgmt), then it's just another place to work. If you want to go home at the end of the day, you won't fit in with the cool kids. They look down on you if you don't party with them. They claim it's all about the "Nika Family", but they will let anyone go in a heartbeat if someone doesn't like you, or if they just don't have a project for you - totally a job shop. They judge people based on the time they leave work, regardless of what time they come in. Because the mgrs all stay late, that's when they see people. "What do you mean, you aren't staying around to decorate for the Halloween decorating contest?" Some stayed, drinking and decorating until midnight - and then came in at noon the next day. Those who stuck with regular work hours got judged for it. If you are an introvert and morning person, you'll never last. Promotions are non-existent, even for their favorites. Communication is non-existent, unless you are one of the favorites. Two of us literally checked the calendar - over four months without the VP on our project even speaking to us AT ALL, other than when WE initiated it.
