Pros

They have a clear direction for expansion and how they want the business to be run. Very professional, dynamic, pride themselves on excellence. Fantastic company culture, both in and out of office. They really encourage/support, help you develop professionally, taking into account your own specific goals and help you chart your course to achieve them. They consider hard skills, as well as acknowledging soft skills, EQ and emotional health There is also an informal policy of colleagues getting together out side of work and becoming friends

Cons

If you want to just come in, sit at your desk 9-6, talk to no one, this is not the place.

Pros

Working w/ NextWave has been a really great experience with my boss actually helping me get closer to my personal goals. They are building my development around what I want to accomplish when I leave in the future. It's quite a transparent culture where you work hard and they will treat you well.

Cons

There is oftentimes a lack of organization and structure that leads to extra work on each individual's part, however, it is improving every day.

Pros

You have the chance to make your own wages here. The base salary is low, but there's potential to earn a high commission if you're motivated. For someone just starting out, it's a solid opportunity to get your foot in the door at a recruitment firm and work your way up.

Cons

Working under higher management was a challenge. There were frequent disagreements during team calls that often disrupted the whole team. It felt like there was a lack of real leadership, and instead of fostering a culture of listening and collaboration, it often seemed like we were being pitted against each other. Gaslighting was a common experience—managers would tell you you’re doing well, but then set expectations you weren't even aware of. The old-school, micromanaging approach made it hard to feel trusted or valued. Unfortunately, in just six months, we lost half of our North American team, which speaks volumes about the environment.
