Pros

standing on your feet and asking the same people every day to switch their cable providers

Cons

the pay, the employer, the professionalism (did not even spell check their own training materials), the commissions are horrid, pretty much unless you are the top two in the company your weekly check is 300 to 400 dollars

Reviewer, We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. It seems as if this position may have not been the best fit for you. We do teach and train sales skills to employees that are interested and willing to learn. Employees that are interested and willing to learn typically do see substantial checks and bonuses every week. We do have to say that our most successful employees with potential that show up on time and do the right things will be rewarded and given further opportunity that is a practice done in all forms of business not just ours. We understand that this position is not for everyone and we are sorry that it was not a great fit for you. We wish you the best of luck on your search.

Pros

Absolutely none do not work here please, Read the cons of the job I'm posting below.

Cons

For anyone considering a job here please please please do NOT. It's not what you think it is and it goes beyond the job being selling cellphones in Sam's. I understand that people who work here are just trying to get by and make money and for the most part are really kind and good-hearted people that may or may not be victims themselves of this business. This company is part of a larger MLM or Multi-Level Marketing scheme. This used to be called a pyramid scheme but MLMs are technically legal. You will be conned into joining with the hopes of making big checks however in reality you will be making fractions of this week to week. You will not make 500$ minimum every week unless you work 6 or 7 days a week which is strongly discouraged or sell a ludicrous amount of new lines. If you don't achieve those big checks it's because "it's something you're doing wrong" or "maybe you just aren't cut out for this business." Below I will attach links to my sources that you are free to take a look at as it breaks down the company structure in more detail. Don't be fooled by the majority of positive reviews this is not a place you want to be, don't quit your previous jobs like I did sold on a dream. I hope this helps anyone in making the smart choice about not working here.
