Pros
Very smooth interview process with none of the usual BS, relatively young and chill coworkers, cool place to actually make friends.
Cons
Nexer was a disappointment. I was told right at the start that the good thing about being a consultant at Nexer is that you "get to pick and choose your assignment", but that was never the case. In fact, a year after I had joined, when I wanted to refuse an assignment, I was threatened with being fired. A few of my friends worked there before me, and I made many more friends when I joined. A lot of lovely people work/worked at Nexer. Most of them have either left or been fired. Nexer is unbothered with its impact on its employees, uncaring of their health and wellbeing, and is only concerned with the bottom line. Salary negotiations are pretty terrible, overall compensation is bad, and you get nothing for your enthusiasm and hard work. On top of everything else, Nexer has a stranglehold on the consulting market here in Sweden, and they will do most anything to keep it that way. They fired friends of mine citing "a difficult market" when their useless sales team failed to find them assignments, only to throw ridiculously lavish and expensive parties (that no developer asked for) and open a new office in central Stockholm shortly after. It's all about growth and LinkedIn buzz. TL;DR: find another place to work at, if possible
