It was sometimes hard to work remotely. I missed interacting with the rest of the staff.

Upper management consists of two employees without an IT background and the owner. 40-45 hours of work are required and every minute accounted for in timecards with a "suggested" study time of 10 hours per week. If this is not met peer pressure will make sure it is met the following week. Any differing view to the owner or upper management is taken with a smile and punished through cloak and dagger dealings. The business overcharges customers for inadequate service in most aspects. The service desk is understaffed as part of the business model and the project team is pieced together by inept workers. This is not the engineers fault, the company does not pay enough for talent in most cases and expect people to fail on the client's dime as a learning experience without training.
