Pros

At first, it was a good place to work. Team unity and decent managers. team unity. Good training and possible advancement.

Cons

During CoVid, they could not keep people. The ones they kept were overworked. Raises were abysmal. A lot of favoritism. Managers not there much, in office. Only a few managers and team leads seem to care. when call volume spiked, reps were overworked. In order to get a good schedule you had top be in good with managers. Not much work life balance.

Pros

Having a dependable paycheck to look forward to.

Cons

Absolutely NO sense of direction. Leadership has no idea what they are doing. If you speak up, you risk getting fired. Your manager tells you to do something and if it goes south, it was never their idea to begin with and they 100% put the blame on you. NO SENSE OF OWNERSHIP. I've seen so many people get let go for no reason and then they fill their position with people younger for half the pay. I've been here for years and it's truly sad to see how people are treated. Just go look up the company name Ouro and check out those reviews. We had to change our name back to Netspend probably because the name Ouro gained a terrible name for itself and they needed to try and gain back as much credibility as they could. We have had so many silent and not so silent layoffs that we no longer know who is in charge of what. It's so bad someone had to create a Slack channel called "who" to see if anyone was delegated those responsibilities and if anyone knows who owns it. Bonuses? What Bonus? Something that is always threatened in 1x1's and reviews yet I don't remember the last time we actually saw one. Promotions? Rare thing to see. Try working here for 20 years and maybe you'll get promoted to a senior of your title. Just maybe. I'm only still here because of how terrible the job market is but I can truly say this place will ruin your mental health. It's not the old Netspend it was years and years ago.
