Pros
In my role as an Office Coordinator, I work closely with the agents in our office and have found my immediate team to be collaborative, supportive, and respectful, despite our different roles. They make the day-to-day experience more positive and team-oriented. My direct manager is the best person I've ever worked for.
Cons
Company-wide perks and events, such as holidays and retreats, often do not extend to office coordinators, even when agents from our offices are participating. This reinforces the feeling of being an afterthought, despite the critical support role we play. One of the most significant pain points is the lack of formal resources, training, or clear processes for new office coordinators. Much of what we do is learned through trial and error, without the support of a designated advocate who understands and represents our unique challenges.
