Pros

Easy to commute Summer hours(leave at 2pm on Fridays)

Cons

No training/very cheap or useless trainings No place for advancement Office politics Favoritism and nepotism. Some of the leaders are bringing their favorable contracting companies to work here and like contractors more than employees. Benefits are just the worst in the industry. 401K plan - no vesting from employer in the first 2 years. Health insurance is too costly and restrictive. Vacation and sick days are very limited. Very high attrition. Employer want to hire from outside and give better pay/position rather than advancing from within

Pros

* If you have an amazing team and management the day goes by fast. * Commission. * Easy to rely on foot traffic to meet goals. * If you ask for growth, they set thing ups that align with what you want, you just need to ask.

Cons

* If its slow, its SLOW. * There can be drama, it just depends on the department you're in.

Pros

Employee discount and free samples

Cons

A toxic environment where sales are almost zero because vendors are pulling their product off the shelf because their bills aren’t getting paid. They’re in the middle of coming out of a bankruptcy , if a client does come in, we usually don’t have the product to sell them ,only lines who are partially thriving is fragrance ! The hours are terrible. You get off work at nine and you’re expected to be back at 9:30 AM.
