Pros

If you like to get screamed at every not and then, then this is the perfect place for ya

Cons

I worked here for what seemed like eternity and tried to do my best to find one positive aspect of the job, but found none whatsoever. First let me begin with the management or its CEO Jonathan Cardella, who without doubt will scream at you. If he is not screaming at you, then he is screaming at someone else, or some client is swearing at you on the phone. It is an extremely stressful work environment located in the a** hole of SF where you are bound to get mugged and probably shot. There is nothing like a 9 to 5 work time here, forget about work-life balance. The company is based on a lawsuit prone business plan and is on its way down. I suspect that the positive reviews on this site are fake reviews that the CEO himself wrote. Only dumbos like the CEO will survive long here, anyone with a pound of grey matter does not stay here for long. Every week there is someone quitting or never bothers to show up. Even the coffee here is burnt. Make sure you don't work with the CEO Jonathan Cardella at any cost.

Pros

We provide a valuable service to home buyers and sellers that help them get better deals. I completely disagree with the negative reviews stating there is no work/life balance--I have a toddler, and not once has my job here ever interfered with me picking him up on time. I like the atmosphere where everyone works hard and you aren't micro-managed.

Cons

I wish more people knew about us--we are NOT a scam as some other people have said--we provide a genuine service to home buyers and sellers that gives them unbiased reviews of real estate agent. Nothing in our business model is unethical-it is very upsetting to me that people say that when it simply isn't true.

Pros

My internship at NeighborCity was a fulfilling learning experience. During my time there, I worked closely with the founders and leaders of the company, which provided me with the opportunity to see how small, burgeoning startups are successfully run. This opportunity also afforded me a great amount of personal responsibility in which I would report directly to top-management on my projects and progress. The feedback I received on daily tasks was constructive, encouraging, and often enthusiastic which fostered a positive work environment where I was motivated to work hard for the benefit of the team. In a business focused on customer satisfaction, my teammates were always positive, friendly, and approachable. There was a high-level of communication within the office which created an easy-going, yet focused and efficient work environment. For those interested in observing a hardworking startup from the inside and working with incredibly welcoming and helpful co-workers, NeighborCity is the place for you.

Cons

There is a heavy workload and they were in the process of hiring, so work at times was a bit hectic. Also, protocols are developing everyday, which can be confusing at times, but this is actually an opportunity to take initiative and aid in making the company more efficient.
