Pros
Good at recruiting internal people, though very homogenous group. Did create a great culture between the associates. Have great friends from there. High ambition and hard-working group overall. As a recent grad you get to take great responsibility in the work, which is encouraged. The receptionist is fantastic.
Cons
No transparency in decision-making, which was fuel by individuals that shared what had been said "behind doors". Work from home not optional anymore. For being an executive search firm, internally I felt it was valued less than the other practices. Misalignment in what you were told from HR/decision-makers and your project leaders concerning you. A lot of emphasis were on what school you came from. Though it is also contradicted with a high focus on your test scores. One instance a partner was talking very bad about one university when an associate that came from said one was sitting in the meeting. Some consultants tend to overexaggerate your background in meetings painting a picture of you as some experts when the client can easily look at your profile and see that it is not true. There was a too obvious favouritism that disrupted the culture between the associates. The culture is very much you're either great by yourself or they let you sink. Not the best respect towards the consultants assistants. A lot of people do quit between 0-2 years.
