Pros
The work can be rewarding, especially when helping members directly, and the work culture has gotten much, much better.
Cons
Association work can be scattered (different topics changing constantly) and each part of the organization is rather stove piped. It is improving though and we have new senior management that should hopefully help sigificantly.
