Pros

National Life Group has a very positive and productive culture that is focused on servant leadership, attracting top talent, keeping our promises to policyholders, maintaining strong relationships with our buying and selling customers, and living our simple but powerful values of “Do Good, Be Good, Make Good.” This culture has propelled National Life Group to reinvent itself during the past ten years and become the fastest-growing life insurer in the U.S., while maintaining solid earnings and a very strong balance sheet, capital position and financial strength ratings.

Cons

No serious cons. As you'd expect at a growth company, the environment is dynamic and fast-paced, so you must embrace learning and converting learning to performance - no room for complacency.

Pros

Good pay, nice people to work with but as a consultant I feel a bit on the "outside".

Cons

Every single person that is an Executive Vice President is a man with the only woman being the CEO's Executive Assistant. Clearly you can see there is a distinct "known" here at this company.

We recognize that diversity has historically been an issue in our industry. However, if you look at our corporate board, we're actively working to diversify and will continue to make sure we consider all aspects. We will always focus on adding the most qualified talent to all of our roles across the entire organization. If you would like to connect further regarding this, I would welcome the opportunity to talk. - Michael Veilleux, Chief People Officer
