People are really friendly; culture is generally good.
Cons
Management tend not to address issues regarding disruptive members of staff even when issue raised by multiple individuals.
Firm is unsure what it actually wants to be; a corporate big-hitter? Or a friendly local lawyer?
1 hour break - although there is pressure not to take the full break even though you are not paid for this. WFH benefits - depending on your manager and if they are understanding or not. I would recommend working at napthens a trainee solicitor not as a legal assistant you will receive more respect
Cons
Toxic, classist, stuffy and ego driven environment. If you are new to the legal sector and from a working class background you might find the environment overwhelming and unfriendly. Most staff are not paid enough or appreciated enough by the firm to have the motivation to train new colleagues properly. I witnessed colleagues of mine being bullied. HR will not consider a pay increase regardless of your workload.
