Pros
Free soup, coffee, tea, oatmeal. 401k that matches up to 8%. Decent amount of PTO.. can't really think of much more.
Cons
NJM was once known to be a great company. ONCE. It is now 2017 and the work environment is still that of 1984. The supervisors there knew less than I did half of the time; not really sure how they got promoted in the first place. Most lack any college education at all. The work schedules are extremely rigid, absolutely no flexibility - was told telecommuting was coming soon but I have a feeling there will be a catch involved. The scored evaluations are a joke, it's nearly impossible to get a 100 now. They are slowly but surely losing their younger employees who are beginning to notice that this company is stagnant and cannot keep up with modern culture. Try to take off one day in the summer, good luck! You must request off months in advance to take off a random Thursday in July. I've heard of supervisors that have harassed multiples employees and received absolutely no recourse for their actions. This company is going downhill fast and all of the millennials who work there are realizing it! Beware. Upward mobility and an open mind are 2 things NJM completely lacks.
