Anything can be heard in a day

The support group between teachers is phenomenal. We help each other out and work well together. There isn't too much gossip or and overt amount of office politics. New employees have the same opportunities as veteran staff. Money doesn't seem as tight as in other schools. The kids need much less discipline than other schools.

The principal is king and he thinks he deserves the title. He delegates his work onto overworked staff. He then micromanages the entire process. He is like the Eye of Sauron in Lord of the Rings and when his eye falls on you or your department he "strongly suggests" you do things his way. No one is safe. Principal reads the anonymous surveys the Board asks for before sending them. He said so in a meeting once. He thinks this doesn't matter since they are anonymous. FSA testing is everything. Everything. Start getting ready in October.
