Myer offers a great environment to build retail and customer service skills. The team culture is generally supportive, and most managers are approachable and willing to help when things get busy. The employee discounts are generous, and there are clear systems and processes in place that make day-to-day work easier once you learn them. It’s also a good first job or stepping stone into retail management or visual merchandising.

Like most retail jobs, peak trading periods (especially Christmas) can be very intense, and shifts can vary week to week
