Pros
Relatively easy work environment, minimal sales pressure however that is quickly changing within the company. Minimal pressure
Cons
This credit union needs a complete makeover from the top down. Absolutely no training at all if you need to learn. Minimal room to move up and grow. They can't keep any department/branch properly staffed and can't afford to hire a team of floaters to assist either. The systems are plagued with I.T. issues but there's no accountability so nothing will ever get fixed. The checking products they offer are 'big bank' style without the resources that a big bank would offer. The company has a grand total of 7 branches, yet each branch does things completely different so there's no uniformity. Marketing rebranded the company from 'point loma credit union ' but stopped at 80%. The call center has no authority and will send most requests/needs back to the branch, thus defeating the point of a call center. There is zero company culture. Upper management needs more diversity. It is clear the higher paid upper management and executives are waiting to retire and collecting paychecks way more than they deserve. Half the lending department wants loans approved, the other half gets a thrill to find a way to decline it. Turnover is very high across the board....
