Pros
You meet lots of interesting people if you like meeting customers and you’re a people
Person. (Something you can enjoy in any customer centric job)
Cons
Everything.
Wages offered are poor in the grand scheme of things compared to other companies.
0 training, expectations aren’t set out, 0 targets for a sales based job so you never know where you stand.
MD pushes his own personal failings onto employees, promotes a toxic working environment and has 0 people skills.
Basic pension, minimum holidays (20days).
Bonus scheme put in contract but there isn’t any bonus scheme in place. Dead end with no progression. Expected to work overtime and go out of your way but no extra overtime wage is offered so the tax man claims it all. Cameras are also watched to track your overtime hours submitted and these submissions are often challenged to save a few quid.
MD wants constant updates on everything one day then other days he doesn’t want bothering with menial detail even though he forgets half of the updates he receives anyway.
If you would like a job where you receive minimal support/training; are constantly spoke to like dirt/ belittled; 0 targets to aim for and no rewards for doing well this job is for you. Honestly I would only ever advise working for this company if it your only option to keep a roof over your head. But for your own mental health avoid it at all costs, it really isn’t worth the hassle.
There is a reason all of the genuine reviews on glassdoor are 1 star for this company…
