Pros
It is an exciting time to be working at MTW. The type of people that Move This World attracts are passionate, hardworking hustlers who excel in getting things done and thoughtfully moving things forward. Move This World takes its mission very seriously, both internally and externally. Whether its taking the time to do workplace wellbeing sessions in the office or going above and beyond to make sure a partner school has all the support possible to implement our program with fidelity, the company's central focus always extends from the work itself. Internally, MTW's Founder & CEO, Sara LaHayne, has built an amazing environment for employees (including interns) to thrive, and take stock of their own wellbeing to ensure they are putting their best foot forward while also pushing to ensure that the company doesn't take any action that isn't strategic. The "startup" mentality is active in all the best ways --not staying stuck in processes, constantly pushing the bar on expectations, collaboration, flexibility, creative thinking, inherent professional development opportunities, and a sense of both joy and responsibility in being able to do the incredible work we do.
Cons
Still being a relatively small company, MTW doesn't have all internal processes fully set up. However, as the company grows I foresee that this will get taken care of. This is not a con, but a note that I think is important for folks to be aware of. Due to the nature of the work MTW does, the people who tend to excel in the company are self aware people who are able to self-reflect.
