C-suite leadership couldn't seem to be LESS invested, they don't engage with boots on the ground any more, are clearly either bored or waiting for their chance to exit (guessing there's some on exit paths already that just haven't been announced).
Middle level leadership is a mess, most folks in the VP/SVP role spend their time trying to undercut other teams internally rather than work together to get anything accomplished. Most people in these roles seem to only care about getting the next title - they regularly cause chaos, drop the ball and create a negative culture all while taking credit for their team's work. There are a few VP/SVPs who are especially problematic and openly treat junior employees terribly.
The company scrapped the internal DEI working group at a time when they actively had trouble retaining employees of color, there was a promise to create a new committee, unclear if that ever happened. Culture VERY quickly went from 'all are included and valued' to, don't talk about DEI too much.
