Pros
stable work, PTO, team environment aside from the admin.
Cons
Thankless work, detached administration. The structure is kind of a pyramid scheme, if you are in administration and get to mostly just talk about the good work being done it is probably very enjoyable. If you are in the trenches, its a different story. Some of the meanest people I've ever encountered work here are very highly thought of by the higher ups, it is really more of a popularity contest than the other, more legitimate healthcare organizations I've been a part of. Could be the Bend/ St Charles type culture. I am so much happier where I am at now, but it's really a shame that this is our local community health clinic. Just my two cents, but having the leadership in a yuppy west side business complex is a mistake. Put the leaders in the same environment as the people doing the actual work. And for a place that celebrate diversity, there sure are a lot of the same type of person in charge.
