Pros
There are a lot of intelligent people who work here. There are hard-working people who work here. When you are working after-hours, there is a higher probability that a team member will work after-hours with you relative to other employers.
Cons
This company is not humanitarian in how they treat one another. The first sound I heard when I was hired into the firm was someone crying in a bathroom. I just heard today that another colleague was in meetings where an employee cried in the team meetings several times. This is the only company I have worked for where I recall receiving phone calls that were actual threats. My first company-wide holiday consisted of finding out on Friday afternoon that I would be working that weekend. I had plans to meet my friends at a ski resort that weekend. I worked 16 hours alone that weekend. I was reassured on Sunday that this was normal, and indeed, it was. Sexual harassment is accepted practice within our parent organization. There is a history of sexual activity in an executive bathroom with a well-known Managing Director. Most women, with the complete exception of those employed in HR, have no concerns about the activity. Because it is normal, and everyone has accepted that that is just how things are. This company focused on the 10% of your abilities which could be improved, and completely loses sight of the 90% of activities which you perform well.
