Pros

Free coffee, lower level administrative staff is overall helpful, office space and location.

Cons

Where to begin? Office management is untrustworthy and gossips about everyone from secretaries to admin staff and attorneys. All they care about is drama and talking behind everyone’s back. Their communication skills are non existent and everything is treated like a secret. Office leadership treats grown adults like children, HR is a nightmare to deal with both professionally and personally, bonuses are a joke- why bother? Managers stop employees for leaving work ten minutes early, sometimes life happens? There is zero schedule flexibility. But then are quick to turn around and do what they want on “work” time. No room to advance in your career. The chair of the firm preaches about collaboration yet no departments are willing to share any information to get work done, it is pulling teeth to get an answer from anyone other than whom you work closely with. Associates have been leaving left and right, they’re over worked and not valued. They’re going to other big firms, doesn’t Morgan see that maybe they’re the issue? I am so glad I left when I did- never looking back. It is like being back in high school- micromanaged on every level. If you join MLB be prepared to be undervalued, underpaid, over worked and talked about by office managing partners and administration.

Pros

Work always ended at 5. Only a handful of times did I have to stay late.

Cons

Some of the partners/secretaries could be hard to deal with. There's an ego dynamic which is annoying to deal with.
