Pros

Years is a brilliant place to work if you enjoy being kept on your toes. The environment is fast-paced and there is always something going on, meaning no two days ever feel the same. One of the biggest highlights is the opportunity to work across multiple projects at the same time, which keeps things varied and interesting. Having come from environments where management either micromanaged every little detail or simply didn't care about you or your work, it is really refreshing to be somewhere that genuinely trusts and values what you do. You are given real autonomy to get on with things, and that makes a huge difference to how you feel turning up to work every day.

Cons

If you're looking for an easy or relaxed working life, Years probably isn't the right fit. The pace is high and the workload can be demanding, so you need to be someone who thrives under pressure and is comfortable juggling a lot at once. It's not a slow burner — you're expected to hit the ground running and keep up with the energy of the business.

Pros

My experience at Years has been nothing but positive, particularly in a hands-on NPD role where I’ve been trusted to take full ownership of projects from concept through to launch. It’s a fast-paced environment that offers real responsibility and the opportunity to make a tangible commercial impact. Over the past 6 months, I’ve delivered 20+ product launches across key seasonal moments and new ranges, while gaining exposure across the full product lifecycle – from supplier sourcing and costings through to trials, artwork, marketing and launch. This has been invaluable for my development both technically and commercially. There are strong opportunities for growth, with continuous support from managers and the wider team. You’re encouraged to build your skillset, take on more ownership and develop confidence in both technical and commercial areas. The team is highly collaborative, working closely across Marketing, Ops, Design and Supply Chain, with a shared focus on delivering the best outcome for the customer. It’s also a mission-driven company with a real passion for innovation, where new ideas and continuous improvement are genuinely encouraged. As with any fast-growing business, there are still opportunities to strengthen processes and structure, but it’s clear these are being actively improved. Overall, it’s a great place to grow, take ownership, and be part of a passionate, ambitious team.

Cons

The pace can be intense, particularly around key seasonal launches, so it requires strong organisation and resilience to manage multiple priorities.

Pros

I’m currently at Years and it’s a great place to work if you want balance, real support, and the chance to actually grow. You’re trusted to manage your time, pick up new skills, and put them into practice quickly. It’s a forward thinking company that’s always exploring new ideas and tech, so you’re constantly learning and improving. The team is strong and supportive, and the mission of helping dogs live longer, healthier lives gives you a real sense of accomplishment. No matter your role in the company, you feel like you’re contributing to the end goal and that your work genuinely has an impact.

Cons

More meeting rooms would make collaboration easier For creative roles, more studio space would help us produce more content A breakout space would be a nice addition for downtime or informal chats
