Pros
The company is one of the best investors in Latin American public equity and debt when it comes to generating alpha. You learn a ton about various countries, industries and the access the company gives you is very strong.
Cons
Not enough time given to do proper equity research, many analysts are left having to cover overextended coverage (30 plus companies). Pay is subpar compared to other top asset managers in the same region. Meritocracy is absent, culture is one where partners are old school guys who just squeeze the most out of the employees.
