Pros

Seeing improvements in children Some BC's are nice and appreciate you If you are looking for a part time job to earn some money and you have psychological, teaching skills and like to work with kids then its a good job.

Cons

LOW PAY The pay is bad in comparison to other jobs where you get to work with kids. Other company offer much more. Many employees have already brought this to management attention since last two years but they do nothing about it. LITTLE APPRECIATION/HIGH EXPECTATIONS There isn't enough appreciation that BI's do because BI's are the one spending most of the time with kids. There is high expectations and despite you doing your best they will point out what you should do and won't really listen to you. They expect to squeeze every ounce of your energy. One time I was on my periods at work and despite informing them, they just said sorry but expect me to give my 100%. NO RECOGNITION ESP WHEN YOU RESIGN Despite giving your all to the company, when you leave the job they just discard you without acknowledge your efforts and time that you put. They would inform one another about you leaving but no one will acknowledge the work you did. NOT ENOUGH TRAINING There is little to not enough training for BI's and moving up the hierarchy is hard if you don't have specific qualifications. So, most BI's are basically stuck at the same position. Each kid is different and they don't give you enough background about them or training to treat them. I had to mostly learn on my own. Mind you, There are no benefits offered in this job. You basically have to work 35 hours per week for 3 months (which is unreasonable criteria esp for woman) as BI's and then you are entitled to medical benefits. Mind you, this is a physically and mentally tiring job. Also, the higher management keeps on saying they are small company and the hear employees concern but they don't really. They adjust to your schedule to suit your work/life balance once you have made your reputation as good employee but don't expect much from them.

Pros

Absolutely nothing. I would be lying if I said one positive thing.

Cons

Where to begin?? This place is a horrible excuse for a business. They treat you like trash and when they are done using you they toss you out without notice. The manager Christina is the closest thing to Satan I’ve ever come into contact with. You will never be valued or given opportunity to move up or advance. I worked for them for two years doing everything to get this business off the ground. You will always feel sick when going into work and you will always second guess yourself. She will tell you to think outside he box then tell you, you did it wrong and you should have run it by her. If you have any self respect or dignity you won’t when you leave this place. You will spend your days on your knees sucking up and taking their BS. Again. DO NOT WORK FOR THESE CRIMINALS.

Pros

I have no positive words

Cons

-Staff to resident ratio unacceptable and dangerous -OSHA violations, Life Safety Code violations, DOL violations, ADA violations, BoN violations, Food Service violations, Healthcare Facility violations -Hardly enough staff to properly care for residents AND you’re expected to clean the entire building (literally) AND serve all meals. Unfortunately, there’s only 60 minutes in each hour and the real world doesn’t have magic, but nevertheless daily assignments list always grows. -Frequently runs out of PPE (even before the pandemic). Gave out ALL the masks to residents and left staff with none. No hand sanitizer. Only XL so you have to use rubber bands to keep gloves from falling off. -And the pay ain’t good
