Pros
Branding is a plus if customers are aware of the service in your area.
Cons
Cons are MANY. I believe 7 franchises opened on Long Island and in Queens over a 3 year period and all went out of business. Why? Poor recommendations from the home office like blowing your capital on advertising the first few years and Inaccurate financial projections. Zero assistance in managing recruitment shortages for maids. Encouragement from a home office slickster to constantly expand when they knew that's a recipe for disaster. Three franchises did so and crashed and burned. Of course, money goes directly in their pocket when you pay to expand. When you encounter issues, they fail to mention someone had those EXACT issues before. Legally, they don't have to mention that owner because it's past the three year disclosure period. So instead, they watch you rot on the vine with no suggestions aside from hiring refugees. Like that would work in million dollar homes! I would be very wary of this franchise system. Oh, and you won't see profit as they predict. Workers comp and commercial insurance are killers. It's a grind, not a business.
