I really enjoyed working at MD. The people were fantastic and I really believed in the work we were doing, the new products we were developing, the overall vision of the company. Facilities were clean. Workload was reasonable.

It was devastating when they decided to cut my entire department from newly hired all the way up to the most senior members - all to meet the upcoming FY’s budget. No warning, no heads up. We just walked into work one day and found out we were being laid off. This was just a few weeks after we delivered a new, highly sought after product. I will say we did get the average severance settlement which was nice but it would’ve been nicer to not have been laid off.
