Pros
Young and energetic work force (i.e. recent grads that you don't have to pay much) Can easily make friends with your co-workers (mostly because everyone is stressed so you have something to complain about together) Potential to earn a lot of money...if you are chosen for opportunities by higher management
Cons
Due to the frat culture, sexism and misogyny is rampant at this company. Almost all of the sales people are men and most of operations are women. Sales people make 3-4 times what operations does, you do the math. This company has a drug and alcohol culture which results in unwanted sexual advances and other inappropriate sexual workplace behaviors both in and out of the office. They often sweep these issues under the rug, in fact one high-level employee is barred from entering the office, instead of being fired and charged. This culture is further confirmed when a senior management level admitted that their hiring strategy is to hire competent and smart men and very attractive women for those men to perform better so they can impress these attractive women. There is also no work-life balance at this company as many of the other reviews have pointed out. MoLo was/is in hyper growth mode promising and taking on too much work that overwhelm their current employees. If you didn't smoke or had unhealthy destressing habits, you will if you work here. The burnout is real here and management doesn't have any solutions for it. They will toss you as soon as you are no longer useful to them, no matter how good you may have been previously which results in EXTREME HIGH TURNOVER. Not only are the employees and reps stressed, but middle-management maybe the most overworked class in this company. After every meeting, they look miserable and thus take their frustrations out on their teams and reps. Adding to the stress and burnout, you have to work 5 weekend shifts a quarter. For those that can't or don't want to work on the weekends, they bribe their coworkers anywhere between $50-$150 (this is a daily occurrence). Promotions are based on favoritism not skill or ability to lead, you have to be friends with your direct superiors or good luck trying to get a promotion or a raise. HR is a also a joke, they just follow and do whatever higher management asked them to do. Very selective and arbitrary policies enforcement. HR will not help you if you are struggling and will actively work with the management to push you out if you are not performing to their arbitrary metrics. Their only goal seems to be to shield the company from any potentially harmful situations.
