Pros

Great and talented people, like a true family. Had 3 amazing managers during my 4 years here - all were great leaders. Good salary, decent benefits - I was always very busy!

Cons

PLM teams are in complete silos. Integrations to other products is all “professional services”. Heritage Mitel Cloud strategy consists PBX in a data center. No geo redundancy - constant downtime. So many cloud offerings - which are finally being consolidated. Terrible or nonexistent processes. I'm from heritage Mitel side and it's clear that acquisition of Shoretel has been poorly handled - lost most talent and killed a great culture. Within 9 months, 80% of Shoretel SEs left to either 8x8 or RingCentral.

Pros

Great culture, I thoroughly enjoyed working with everyone I worked with. I have met and worked with professionals from all across the globe.

Cons

Low pay, massive layoffs. Entire teams key to business functionality replaced with cheap labor overseas. This has caused large delays in projects and an immense loss of knowledge and expertise. No one on my team or anyone else I have talked to has received more than a 0.5% raise in 7 years. My bonus last year was $196. While my manager was wonderful, she has no power to show her appreciation for her team and there is minimal room for growth.
