Pros
I am REALLY happy here. For starters, our customers literally ADORE the product -- everyday we receive lot's of positive reinforcement and feedback from our customers. The team is bright, ambitious and everyone checks their ego at the door; Everyone you encounter is genuinely happy to be here, engaged in what we are doing, and all around a really nice person. Work-wise, it's a challenging environment with flexible working (hours, remote, etc), it's a young company but you don't feel the same "growing pains" you encounter at most growth stage companies because we are really focused on building the best people-practices very early on. From recruiting, to learning and development and growth to engagement surveys, etc. Did I mention our customers love us?? (Seriously, they are going bananas!); This is one of the biggest rewards for working here -- not only do we know we are having a great impact, but it speaks to the opportunity we have to build a new category and dominate the market!
Cons
There really aren't many that come to mind...Because we are distributed, some people have strange hour–sometimes really early or late in the evening meetings but there's flexibility the rest of the time so it's not a major issue. Also, we are still young so we don't have all the hip tools and bells and whistles -- that said, we are focused on the important things like career development, culture, growth and building something that is having a major impact on how a LOT of companies bring their ideas to market.
