I used to be ride or die for Miku. Since day one I was told if I worked hard I would be promoted, so I did. They even offered a college reimbursement program so I could study to be an engineer and work towards getting a higher salary and make a career out of this job. I would handle being on phones alone, sometimes 50 calls a day back to back with no support, little training, no resources and was told to continue to work through it and figure it out and I would be promoted. I got to watch the other employees who did absolutely nothing get promoted over myself due to favoritism. Finally one year later I was able to be promoted to a “hybrid” role only because new management was assigned and we had new hires. Come to find out my pay was the exact same as the new hires with this new “promotion”. Nov of 2022 the Miku Monitor itself help saved my daughters life and the company was well aware of this. The Miku helped me discover that my daughter had a collapsed lung due to a high respiration rate. Later we found out she had a tumor above her heart and that she has leukemia. At that time the company was working with me and allowed time off due to living in the PICU because of her condition. They even sent a care package to the hospital and gave me reassurance they would work with me throughout this unexpected time. Once we got out it almost felt like the company intentionally let me go with no remorse. I was fired 10 minutes into my morning shift, with no heads up. My boss at the time refused to give me an explanation and to this day will not speak to me to let me know why. This is also the same exact boss who was supportive and reassuring that my job would be fine through my daughter being on her death bed in the PICU and this new life chapter of ours. The company let me go due to “workforce reduction” but later I found out I was the only one let go in my department. They did not let me fight for a different position or apply for anything else. I had to turn in all my equipment and that was that. I was completely devastated and still to this day have no words for this company. They also told me to file for unemployment and I got denied. So not sure why this happened or the intentions Miku had but 10/10 do not recommend working here.
