Pros
If you have a red seal or any level of experience more than a year in the trade, your treated like gold and virtually unfirable, very desprite for qualified technicians. There are a few people that do seem to care but very far and few between.
Cons
Hires anyone who walks in the door with most having zero experience or any tools at all, constant revolving door of employees, maintenance of equipment is years out of date, only buys the cheapest of parts and fluids or consumables, safety is an afterthought, massive communication issues in management, bonus system on labour was removed by new owners, increase in cost with reduced coverage for benifets (dental, vision etc) no employer matched RRSP, no real Incentive at all for long term employment let alone a life long career.
