Pros

Some very nice people and nice offices. Generally fellow employees are friendly and supportive. Ice cream socials, picnics, and social events are pretty fun. MVP program recognizes employees.

Cons

Upper management is almost entirely male. Females are not actively supported or encouraged to seek management positions. Discrimination against women is an everyday occurrence in many groups or teams. Healthcare is only subsidized for single employees or those with families who choose the expensive high-deductible plan, so those who chose "good insurance" during open enrollment saw a significant salary decrease. Company does not do performance reviews on time, the pay is lower than industry standard, and raises are also less than industry standard. Bonuses are given to some employees in some departments and not in others. Paid time off is less than industry standard.

Pros

The company was founded is run by CEO Kris Collo and CTO Mike Cerniglia. Both are young, bright, rational, generous and fair. The company pays 100% of premiums for an excellent healthcare plan -- that alone is worth at least an extra $10K in salary. The work environment is casual, friendly and fun. Catered breakfast is provided every Thursday. All employees are issued iPads as standard equipment. The company is in the process of building out an aggressive telework program, and it's easy to work from home whenever convenient. The company provides generous gifts and bonuses at the end of the year.

Cons

The company added more than 50 employees in 2012. This has left the headquarters a little overcrowded. There are a very limited number of offices. The open floor plan of the office can make for a noisy work environment with limited personal space. There are few meeting rooms, which although occasionally inconvenient tends to discourage unnecessary meetings.
