Pros

Great pay and benefits, most equipment is decent.

Cons

Truck, Trailer, Driver, it's all just equipment to them... Management is people that went to school to learn how to be managers with No truck driving experience. They won't listen to the drivers telling them what works best. Insane rules. Very easy to get fired. Cameras in trucks and you will be disciplined based on camera footage, for example taking a turn through an intersection and exceeding the speed limit by .08 mph...yep. If you are hired as a Truck Driver then that's all you will ever be there. There is no chance to advance or climb the ladder because to them you are not human. People only work here because the pay is really good but because you are treated so poorly the morale is really bad.

Pros

Terrific, people-oriented culture driven from Messer Group HQ. Strong focus on nimble and practical decision making. Messer Group Owner and CEO Stefan Messer sets a positive, inclusive and inspirational tone from the top. This is a good company filled with talented people and great technology in a stable industry. Competitive pay and good benefits.

Cons

Employees are required to be a lot more resourceful to get things done than they would have to be at a larger corporation with a lot more people and resources. That is not for everyone. If you are the type of employee who just wants to be told what to do, with no accountability for decisions or for your actions, then this may not be the right company for you. If you have an independent, entrepreneurial spirit, then you can be very successful.
