Pros

A great and flexible working environment with interesting job opportunities. An open discussion culture and positive atmosphere, with truly inspiring people.

Cons

Working across various time zones can be challenging at times, but people do have the freedom to arrange their working schedule in accordance with their own schedule most of the time.

Pros

The people are truly the best part of working here. They’re brilliant, driven, kind, and hardworking across every team and level of leadership. It's inspiring to be surrounded by smart people who genuinely care about the mission and are dedicating their time and energy to meaningful work. I believe work-life balance is what you make of it. I never felt guilty setting boundaries and being fully "off" after hours. There's also a great opportunity to build new programs and processes without much red tape, which is rare and refreshing. Leadership team encourages and appreciates new ideas.

Cons

The usual growing pains that come with being a startup in hypergrowth mode…nothing unique to this company, but something to be aware of. Like many behavioral health and virtual care companies, there are challenges in scaling. However, it helps that Meru Health does have unique differentiators and impressive outcomes and has a strong pipeline. Startup life isn’t for everyone…resources can feel tight, and working across time zones can present communication challenges. But if you’re willing to put the effort in and roll up your sleeves, it’s rewarding work.
