Pros

Amazing people work there. Great leaders run some sides of the business. A good place to develop and learn. Continues to hire good culture fits.

Cons

COVID sank the companies full potential. New CEO took over last year and axed 60% of the employees in 3+ rounds of layoffs - one major riff. It was needed but little transparency and communication was given to existing employees during each round of layoffs. CEO is principal at the VC backing the company. It’s hard to trust what higher ups say. Overall they’re blowing the company up to basically start over. I think in 6 months or so things will calm down with most old employees gone. Again, good people in leadership roles. Company’s success is dependent on a lot of things going their way. I expect the name to change for a full rebrand soon.

Pros

Mersive is in an exciting stage of growth, with a clear focus on innovation and pushing new products into the market. The company has recently taken on a new direction that feels strategic and forward-looking, with leadership emphasizing technology that better serves modern workplaces. There’s a strong sense of collaboration across teams, and the work environment encourages new ideas and problem-solving.

Cons

Like any company evolving in a competitive tech space, there are growing pains and adjustments to new priorities. Communication around change could be more consistent at times, but leadership seems receptive to feedback.
