Pros
The only thing I can think of on the positive side is their location and some of their architectural staff I found to be very nice and helpful.
Cons
The principal insists on using ArchiCAD, that is an older program and not the industry standard. Program takes forever to use and I was told I would be taught the program which never happened. He is very cheap in regards to buying new programs and resources that would strongly benefit the team including Revit. Staff would need to take turns with CAD and the few revit licenses he agreed to purchasing. He advertises this role as an easygoing position with flexible hours but is strict and will not pay you for your overtime. Schedule is a 4-day 9 hour work week with a half day on Friday and advertised as very flexible . I was told I couldn't work through lunch and leave early and had to stay until 6. I was fired over a scheduling miscommunication shortly after starting. He didn't even discuss the matter directly with me before making this decision. Team wasn't notified or happy with this and were left to meet a deadline without my assistance. I strongly do not recommend working here.
