Pros

Great mobility - can move within the company & transferred to different regional offices; decent updated training; strict adherence to code of ethics; beautiful offices

Cons

Not competitive pay; terrible on-oarding process; Mercer does not invest in it's employees and it drains client retention. Company very tight on the purse strings when it comes to small perks in keeping their employees happy; terrible management system makes it very difficult to perform and deliver at your best; very low morale

Pros

-Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

Cons

-Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
