Pros

Good health benefits and 401k match

Cons

Doesn’t listen to wants or needs of employees Either micromanaged or no clear expectations are given - there is no in between Very cliquey If you don’t spend all your free time doing extra networking for the company you don’t advance (bad work life balance) Toxic “family” atmosphere Philosophy is to hire within but the CEO fired a slew of management and had replacements the next day, all external. Positions weren’t even posted for current employees to apply. You can advance your career to about mid level then all growth stops if you aren’t in the cliques. You can clearly see who management’s favorites are.

Having to deny members from loans Pushing products and services to members randomly some “cold calling”

Pros

Flexible Schedule on the business team. 401(k) is amazing. Healthcare is great.

Cons

Poor leadership across the board starting with VPs. C-Suite claims to be transparent, but then people (VPs) who are friends with the CEO get hired out of the blue. Poor PTO plan. No cost of living adjustments on already poor salaries. Does not value tenured employees. Prefers to hire new, cheap labor instead of treating invaluable tenured employees with dignity and a fair pay.
