Pros

I really enjoyed the people I worked with (not management). I also got exposure to tons of different aspects of Supply Chain because we were expected to wear so many hats and do so much.

Cons

Management is not transparent. Had a friend fired and they told everybody in the department that he "resigned", and that if we were asked, we should "tell people he resigned." They are not transparent on how to gain promotions. They will not give raises to keep up with cost of living. They refused to change bonus metrics when Covid hit, causing us all to make thousands less in 2020. Despite all of that, long hours over 40/week are expected. In sum - large workload with very poor reward. But sometimes we get a "good job!" and told how much money the company is making.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
