Pros

Good office. Free breakfasts that are now vary. The promice to work on new technology that will help people. The staff. some great people now work here. bad comments about Execs in previous reviews are wrong. at least wrong about current Execs. but cos the CEO and CFO are hopeless they have been through a dozen Execs so it may have been about previous Execs. the current GM's of HR, Health Software and marketing are awesome and have done massive great changes. Their to good for this place really and we sit around worried about them leaving and it going back again.

Cons

The CEO is way out of his depth. he says that Helix is his baby, then how come he didn't know how bad it is. the last CTO got fired, wrong guy, he didn't build it. people like the CEO but nobody respect him. The CFO is way out of his depth to but hes not liked or respect. all bad decisions that kill staff motivation come from him but he never gets up from his desk, apart from to give his team wine from his secret (not so secret) wine fridge. no reports match up and company updates dont make sense and then he papers over cracks with redundancys. there is no hope with these two.

Pros

1) Managers genuinely listen and back you up—decisions rarely feel top-down. 2) Strong mentoring culture; I walked away smarter every quarter. 3) Cross-functional teams share knowledge freely, so you’re always learning something new about health tech and patient workflows. 4) Flexible work options and balanced expectations keep burnout low. 5) Solid benefits and an inclusive vibe make day-to-day work enjoyable.

Cons

1) Release cycles can drag; new features sometimes queue for months before hitting production due to product complexity. 2) Roadmaps aren’t as nimble as they could be when market priorities shift. 3) Stakeholder sign-offs add extra steps, which slows experimentation a bit.
