Pros
There aren't a whole lot of positives. I did like the people I worked with and the office had snacks, so I suppose that's something.
Cons
MediaShift is a company that lives in the AdTech world but is run by people who lack AdTech experience (check the leadership page on the company's website). The unfortunate result of that is a mismanaged company pushing a product that the advertising community isn't particularly interested in. They can pump as much money into the company as they like, but unfortunately they'll never be able to get past that fundamental flaw of their business. From an employee standpoint, management doesn't treat employees with respect and doesn't value their opinions. Management chooses to avoid transparency with their employees, and when you're talking about a struggling company with massive turnover, that's the furthest thing from reassuring for employees who have serious concerns about whether the company can even make payroll. One would think that turnover might lead to advancement opportunities for employees, but from looking at the corporate website it appears that the only title changes that have taken place have involved upper management promoting themselves to new positions.
