Pros
- Some fantastic still people work here - Free food all the time - Close to the expo line if you commute - Apple products - Unlimited PTO - Casual dress - You'll learn a lot working here - Pretty awesome technology stack
Cons
- Culture of blame (used to be a culture of family and teamwork) - Unreachable revenue goals (your bonus or lack thereof will be based on this goal) - Talent dropping off like flies - Inability to hire or attract new talent - Clueless product and marketing team - Constant changes in leadership - Constant changes in customer focus (one week it's web pros, the next small business, now it's going after whales) - Cramped working conditions - Inability to concentrate due to "open" environment - Lack of restrooms - Office used to be colorful, Godaddy painted everything white. - Senior management grasping at straws to fire people over difference of opinion (so they don't vest stock options) - Building and rushing inferior products - Scoping and upselling customers who just need a little bit of help - Benefits package is a little weak - You can get a hold of Godaddy employees and management over linkedin, but not via email - Forcing us to integrate with Godaddy with little to no support from the Godaddy side coupled with broken API's - Switching to inferior products like office 365 (from GMail) because executives can't manage their own calendar.
