Pros
They issue paychecks and have benefits.
Cons
Everything else. Pay is well below industry average. Benefits are not awesome. 401k: 2% match with a 5 year vest. You will get inundated with meeting requests and adhoc syncs before your foot is even in the door. Make no mistake, this place has a VERY meeting-heavy culture. They do expect more than 40 hours per week. You will regularly see people online via Slack at 8-9pm at night. You will be expected to field meetings and respond to emails after 5pm on a regular basis. Your manager will not defend you nor protect you from the swirling sea of chaos. Leadership is all related, and favorites are put into positions of power, without consideration of ability. Company is notoriously cheap. They pay well under market and they run with skeleton-levels of staffing. Engineering is not given anywhere near enough resources for the speed at which they push. Do yourself a favor and do not fall for the pleasant tales recruiting spins. This place has large structural issues, and needs to actually spend some money to be able to scale. If you are reading through the reviews, make sure you pay attention to if the reviewer is part of the medical staff using the service, or part of the engineering / technical staff supporting the development. The two populations will have very different experiences.
