Great work environment - Brand Director Mechanica Employee Review

I love this place so much! Everyone is like a family. If you work hard, it is rewarded proactively. Positive things are celebrated while negative things are dealt with in a professional and appropriate way. Management actually knows how to manage people, but everyone is a part of a "flat" organization where title never stops your voice from being heard. Work-life balance is strongly encouraged, which subsequently makes people hold themselves accountable and work smarter. You are truly a part of a TEAM here. Culture is everything here. Hands down, the best company I have ever worked for.

Wish the client roster was more varied. Since it's a small company, the more you advance in your career path, the harder it is to continue growing.

Mechanica is an incredible place to work. Great benefits, good salary, solid client base, and amazing co-workers. Truthfully going to work for me doesn't feel like a job. It feels like an extension of my life, if you catch the distinction. The agency has an great sense for work/life balance, allowing employees to work remotely, flexible hours, and how they want. It's a place where they work tirelessly to make it feel like a second family instead of just a place you work. Being a great place to work from an HR perspective isn't the only pro - the types of businesses and clients we work with are also great. From lifestyle to health & beauty to finance to healthcare to technology, Mechanica has clients that cover a range of businesses as well as business issues/challenges the agency solves.

The only con(s) could really be the size of the agency. Which is also a positive at times. While it's nice to have a smaller work environment of 30-40 people it can also be a challenge to get the right people in the right room. Somehow, though, we always make it work.
