McKesson does not promote more qualified individuals, rather, only individuals that have been with the company the longest are promoted. McKesson promotes managers with no understanding of the business. McKesson promotes managers that do not have well developed people management skills. McKesson does not offer competitive health, retirement, or incentive benefits. Yearly raises are fixed at 2-3%, regardless of performance.
