Everyone else hated working there in the field as well. As the old saying goes misery loves company.
Cons
Bosses have no issue lying to your face. I explicitly asked for a certain amount of money as my travel fee or to be relocated. Stan Skeggs told me he'll see what he could do. My pay never got increased, when I tried to ask him about it he wouldn't return my emails or calls. Bad pay. Horrendous instructions for understanding how to do a job as an inspector properly. Additionally, no input of where I would like to work or how many hours a week I would like to work was asked. When I made mention of that it was hand waved away. I wanted a decent work life balance last summer and they put me on one of the busiest jobs (12 hour days with some weekends) that was an hour away.
